About Us Welcome to the website of South Venice Baptist Church! We are glad you found us online, and hope you will soon find us for real! Our church's mission statement is "Joyfully Sharing Christ." We are Christ centered and believe that trusting and following Jesus Christ is what everyone needs to do to experience the joy of God. We also know that our main purpose is to share Christ with our community and the whole world. It is not a burdensome task, but a joyful and fulfilling privilege to serve the Lord, share our Lord, and see people's lives changed. Yard Sale for Ministry
GIANT YARD SALE will be Saturday, February 4, 8:00 a.m.—2:00 p.m. We have toys, lamps, knick knacks, kitchen utensils, dishes, glassware, small appliances, small furniture items, etc., and clean clothing in good repair. There is also a delicious BAKE SALE, with cookies, brownies, rolls, breads, cakes and pies, all homemade with loving care! Hot dogs and soft drinks will be available, too. Hang around the patio for some good old fashioned music played and sung by our talented folks. And before you leave, get your blood pressure checked by one of our nurses. It'll be a fun day, so bring your money for all those great bargains!
