Women's Beth Moore Bible Study

The Women's Ministry of SVBC is offering a Beth Moore Bible study beginning Monday, September 27, at 7:00 p.m. The study is Esther: It's Tough Being a Woman, a study of the book of Esther in the Old Testament. A morning study will be offered on Tuesday mornings at 10:00 beginning September 28. To sign up for this practical study of God's Word, call the church office, 493-0022, or sign up at the church the next time you are there.

Men's Bible Study

There is a powerful Men's Bible Study starting up the same evening as the women's study. This study promises to be the most important yet for our men. The men are going to study the book of Romans in the New Testament. They will be using a different study guide by N. T. Wright, one of today's foremost New Testament scholars and authorities. Men, come on out and learn what Paul meant when he said, "I'm not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile."  The study starts up on Monday, September 27 at 7:00 p.m. All men are invited to participate and bring another guy with you. Please call the church office, 493-0022, so we can make sure we have a study guide for you. If you have any questions talk to Pastor Allan or any of the men who have been part of these great studies.
